How it works
Short guides to every part of Eightball Picks. Each one is a few minutes' read, and most have something to play with.
How it works
Pick NFL games at a price that reads as a chance. Free to play, pregame only, and your skill builds over time.
Prices are chances
Every price reads as a percent. A right share pays 100, so the price tells you both the chance and what a right pick returns.
Markets and lines
Each game has a winner market, three spread lines and three total lines. Lines are half points, so nothing pushes.
The order book and the house
Prices come from an order book. The house market maker always quotes, so there is always a price to take.
How results work
Scores are confirmed by Eightball from two sources, then open for review. A tie pays 50 per share. A game that doesn't count is undone for everyone.
Fairness and anti-cheat
The same rules for everyone, the house in the same queue as players, and rules that make fake accounts pointless.
Identity and privacy
Sign in with an account you already have. Prove you're a unique person without telling us who you are.
Leaderboards, XP and reputation
Boards are for bragging rights, XP counts how much you play, and reputation shows who is consistently good. Luck vs skill, explained.
Why onchain
Picks will settle on a public ledger, so the rules are checkable and your record outlasts any one app. You never see the plumbing.
